I checked out orbitz, travelocity, priceline, cheaptickets……you name it, i have checked everything but all of them are sooooo expensive especially the flights. can anyone help me out with a good and cheap deal….i am on a budget. My passport expired so i can’t really go anywhere else…..and i have always wanted to go to hawaii….oahu….
Because of the high price of jet fuel you are going to have a tough time finding discounted airline tickets. However, you can save by staying at a more economical hotel. In Oahu I recommend The Queen Kapiolani Hotel. For the location the prices can’t be beat.
The best part about this hotel is that it is one block from the beach, and there are rooms where you have an ocean view out one window and a view of Diamond Head out the other. It’s across the street from the Honolulu Zoo, so you wake in the morning to the sounds of elephants. It’s seen better days, but I’ve stayed in much worse.
We’ve stayed there the last couple of times we’ve been to Honolulu.
You can also find a load of economical places to eat in the International Market in Waikiki. This could make your trip more affordable.
