The Best Value Hawaii Hotels for Your Hard-Earned Money

So many people would really love to visit Hawaii and enjoy the beautiful scenery and culture over there. Unfortunately, to many of them the costs are just too high to bear. Are you one of them? Would you like to stay in fine Hawaii hotels without having to empty your credit card limit? If so, you are in luck, because I am going to show you where you can get the best value for your hard-earned dollars.

To make it easy for you, I am going to start from best value Hawaii hotels on the island of Oahu, followed by Maui, Big Island and Kauai. I am sure that you will not be disappointed with my fine selections.

The Breakers (Oahu): Even though your first impression of this hotel is that of an old establishment, the great thing about staying at the Breakers at Oahu is that even though everything is basic, the management still manage to keep everything clean and tidy. Cozy rooms are placed surrounding a pool and a beautiful garden. Not everybody will like to stay here, but this is definitely a fine choice for a budget traveler.

Embassy Suites (Oahu): If you choose to stay at the Embassy Suites, I should warn you that you won’t get the cheapest rate available. But for the money that you spend, you will definitely get the best value of it. All accommodations, buffet breakfast and the nightly live entertainment are included in the rate. This makes it a great value for anyone interested.

The Wyland Waikiki (Oahu): If you are looking for artist-themed Hawaii hotels, the Wyland Waikiki can be a great choice for you. Actually it’s the first of its kind in Hawaii and it is the perfect place to stay for anyone who enjoy something different without having to pay a high price. This contemporary boutique-style hotel is located right in the heart of Waikiki and offers a relaxing and comfortable place to stay.

Kaanapali Beach Hotel (Maui): With all the luxurious resort hotels popping up across Hawaii, it’s fortunate that there is still an old yet charming resort hotel that offers reasonable price for budget travelers.

Napili Bay (Maui): The Napili Bay is great for those budget travelers looking for beach front studio bargains. Not only is the beach gorgeous, it’s also perfect for snorkeling and other ocean activities. More over, the studios are perfectly outfitted and if you are looking for a budget place for your honeymoon, look nowhere else.

Noelani Condominium Resort (Maui): This beach front condominium offers a terrific value and a comfortable place to stay. Whether you are looking for a unit for two or for your whole family, you will not be disappointed with the selections that it offers.

Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa (Big Island): If you are looking for a place to stay around the Kohala coast, Waikoloa Beach Resort offers a great value for such a pleasing and beautiful location. It’s not the cheapest, but you will like the value that you get for your dollars.

Nihi Kai Villas and Waikomo Stream Villas (Kauai): If you are looking for a flexible place to stay for your family on Kauai’s sunny south shore, these Hawaii hotels offer excellent value for your money. Whether you just want to relax in your room or want to take a stroll on the beach, you can do them all here.

The Best Luxurious Hawaii Hotels for Your Worldly Pleasure

Hawaii is famous for its beauty and warm welcome. As one of the major tourist destinations in the world, it offers something special for everybody. Whether you prefer to enjoy the worldly luxuries or just want to experience the simple pleasures of life, Hawaii has it all.

Here, I will try to provide you with a simple guide on Hawaii hotels that you can choose the next time you visit Hawaii.

Are you one who like to enjoy the luxuries of life? Hawaii is the place. You can be sure that there are a lot of first class resorts and hotels available on these beautiful islands. Below are the best Hawaii hotels and resorts that I have compiled for your reading pleasure:

Kahala Hotel & Resort (Oahu): This is the only AAA five-diamond resort available in Oahu and it really deserves to be one of the best Hawaii hotels. Luckily, it only takes 10 minutes driving from Waikiki. It offers spacy and cozy rooms, top class service and dining, and a virtually private beach for your enjoyment. If you look for a place where you can relax comfortably, yet only a short distance away from the excitements that Oahu has to offer, Kahala Hotel & Resort is the perfect spot for you.

Halekulani (Oahu): This fine hotel is located on Waikiki Beach and it offers gorgeous white rooms, superb service and one of the best restaurants on Waikiki Beach.

Grand Wailea Resort & Spa (Maui): This amazing resort offers an exclusive tropical theme park. In addition, if you bring your kids, you can be sure that they will enjoy Hawaii’s best pool complex, while you can pamper yourself in the island’s best spa.

Fairmont Kea Lani Maui (Maui): This hotel can be considered one of the most romantic and relaxing hotels in Hawaii. Moreover, you won’t have to empty your wallet to be able to enjoy a spacious and cozy one-bedroom suite here.

The Fairmont Orchid (Big Island): If you are looking for an elegant, attractive, yet intimate luxury hotel, you can not go wrong with The Fairmont Orchid. Here, you will be able to enjoy authentic aloha experience while having an excellent romantic dinner with your loved one.

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai (Big Island): This wonderful resort has almost everything that you ask for. It offers rooms with open-air lava-rock shower if you enjoy natural-style luxury. In addition, you will be able to enjoy a romantic sunset with your loved one at the beautiful oceanfront pool. For you golf lovers, it has one of the best golf courses available in Hawaii.

Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa (Kauai): From the moment I checked in until checking out, I thoroughly enjoy my stay at this one of Hawaii’s most fulfilling resort. Located on the island’s southern coast, it offers spacious rooms, superb pool complex to satisfy you and your kids, and finest service that signifies the warm spirit of aloha.

Princeville Resort Kauai (Kauai): If you enjoy snorkeling and sunbathing, this resort has the perfect spot available just out the back door. Moreover, you will be amazed with the breathtakingly beautiful scenery available from your room. Fortunately, the only minor drawback is the lack of open-air lanais. If you are looking for one of the best Hawaii hotels, why don’t you try this one out?

Is there any all-inclusive hotels in Hawaii?

I am considering going there for my honeymoon in October.

Great time to travel there! There’s one rustic all-inclusive on the big island, but that’s it, and it’s almost certainly NOT what you had in mind. I’m certain that’s just one criteria you have in mind. I’m going to give you one BIG piece of advice…use a travel agent. For instance, FunHawaii.com doesn’t charge a service fee, and the dpeople KNOW Hawaii. They’ll ask you a few questions to find the atmosphere, setting, level of hotel service, then find the best resort or condo match. There are so many options and that’s one trip you don’t want to have ruined by some ridiculous flight schedule some such thing.

Does Hawaii have a resort area like Cancun or is it all mid-city high-rise hotels like I see in Honolulu?

My wife and I want to spend a week in Hawaii and we have never been before. We’ve been to Cancun and we like the hotel area there where the hotels are not located in the middle of downtown. I looked at Honolulu and the hotels look like they are all high-rises in the middle of downtown. Granted, they are still near the beach, but that’s not the atmosphere we really want. We were at the Gran Melia in Cancun and it has wonderful gardens in the atrium with several pools at sea level. Is there anything like that on any of the islands in Hawaii?
You people are good! That’s the info I wanted.

Thanks.

There are several resort type hotels of the type that you’re describing on some of the outer islands.

Check out The Grand Wailea on Maui, Hapuna Beach Hotel on the Big Island (named Hawaii), or the Mauna Kea Beach Resort (which is the neighbor to the Hapuna Beach). These bigger resort type hotels will give you more of what you’re looking for I believe.

There is one such hotel on the island of Oahu. That hotel is the Ko’olina Resort and Spa and is located basically on the opposite of the island from Waikiki and is a 2 hour drive from the airport.

Of course, all of these hotels are not cheap and room rates will run you in the $600/nt price range for a standard room.

Good luck and happy travels!
